POSITION SUMMARY
Arrange the cooking materials by portioning, dicing, and storing food items safely. Get rid of dirt and peel off the skin from fresh vegetables and fruits. Measure, quantify, and mix the ingredients. Follow the recipe, quality criteria, visual requirements, and cooking guidelines for optimum results. Create chilled meals according to the required temperature. Be competent in using kitchen equipment, such as ovens, stovetops, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Check if the food has attained its desired degree of cooking. Watch out for the quality of the meal while cooking. Set up and clean the workstation. Pack food items in suitable storage and in proper portion sizes. Sanitize all kitchen equipment and gadgets, including knives, tools, and tables. Ensure that the temperature of the appliance, as well as the food, is in line with the suggested guidelines.
Stay upright, sit or walk for long hours or a whole work shift. Stretch, reach up and down, bend, and stoop as needed. Lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Meeting education prerequisites necessitates the possession of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
The candidate must have worked in a similar position for at least one year.
No Prior Experience in Leading Others: No past involvement in leading and managing a team.
