POSITION SUMMARY
Get ready for cooking by arranging ingredients, dividing them into portions, dicing, and preserving food. Scrub and skin new fruits and vegetables. Verify, gauge, and combine components. Cook and prepare food following recipes, quality rules, visual requirements, and proper prepping checklists. Create chilled dishes. Work ovens, ranges, grills, microwaves, and deep fryers. Check the food to decide if it’s done correctly. Observe food quality whilst preparing meals. Configure and disassemble workstations. Put meals into appropriate containers in the required volume. Clean and sanitize kitchen premises, desks, equipment, utensils, and tools. Examine and certify the temperature of home appliances and meals.
Comply with all company policies, as well as safety and security procedures. Report any maintenance, accidents, injuries, or hazardous work conditions to the manager. Get certified and complete safety training to ensure safety in the workplace.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Completion of high school education or attainment of a G.E.D. certification is mandatory.
A minimum of 12 months of professional practice in a relevant field is necessary.
Lack of Leadership Experience: No experience in leading a team or supervising others.
While there aren't any particular licenses or certifications required for this job, certain levels of experience or education may be preferred
The compensation for this specific role ranges from $20.00 to $20.00 per hour and comes with a variety of benefits such as healthcare, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan.
