POSITION SUMMARY
Make food items ready for cooking by dividing, chopping, and keeping the food fresh. Before dicing, wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Calculate, assess, and mix the ingredients. When cooking food, follow recipes, quality criteria, presentation standards, and food strategies. Prepare cold food items. Be capable of operating ovens, stovetops, grills, microwaves, and deep fryers. Use an accurate testing method to ensure that the food is sufficiently cooked. Monitor food quality while cooking, and clean up and break down your workstation. Serve food in the right dishware and serving size. Clean and sanitize the kitchen area, including the tables, equipment, knives, and tools. Inspect the appliances and food temperature and ensure they are in line with the guidelines.
Work for a considerable period of time, for example, an entire work shift, standing, sitting, or walking. Reach and stretch up and down, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Lift, carry, move, push, pull, and position objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Necessary educational qualifications for admission include a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
A minimum of 12 months of professional expertise is needed in a related area.
Limited Leadership Qualifications: No evidence of possessing the necessary skills and traits to lead a team.

The hourly pay for this role ranges from $20.00 to $20.00, and as part of the compensation package, employees are offered healthcare benefits, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) plan.
