POSITION SUMMARY
Ready the food products for cooking through parting, cubing, and preserving fresh products. Use a fruit peeler and wash fresh fruits and vegetables. Quantity, determine, and put together meal ingredients. Prepare and cook food in accordance with recipes, quality standards, display standards, and meal preparation guidelines. Make sure that chilled food products are stored at the required temperature. Operate ovens, stovetops, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Check to see if the food is completely cooked. Ensure that food quality is preserved while preparing food. Arrange your work area and clean it up. Serve the meal in appropriately sized portions and in suitable containers. Sanitize everything in the kitchen, including tables, tools, knives, and gadgets. Verify and manage the temperature of the kitchen equipment and food.
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving collective targets. Actively listen to and address the concerns of other employees. Ensure that quality standards and aspirations are adhered to.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Obtaining a high school diploma or G.E.D. is a compulsory requirement for eligibility.
Prior experience of at least one year in a related field is compulsory.
Inexperience in Supervising: No track record of supervisory duties or responsibilities.
Being licensed or certified isn't mandatory for success in this field, although some employers may see it as an advantage
