POSITION SUMMARY
Settle the ingredients for cooking by segmenting, cutting, and saving food. Clean up and skin fresh vegetables and fruits before dicing them. Quantify, calculate, and blend the ingredients. Follow recipes, food quality standards, visual presentation requirements, and food preparation procedures when preparing and cooking food. Have cold goods ready. Capable of handling ovens, stovetops, grills, microwaves, and fryers. Do a testing to determine if the meal has been cooked to perfection. While cooking food, always keep an eye on the food quality. Assemble and decompose your workstation. For the appropriate container size, serve meals in the correct quantities. On the kitchen surfaces, tables, tools, knives, and gadgets, clean and disinfect. Make sure the temperature of the appliances and food is correct.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance, both in uniform and personally. Preserve proprietary information confidentially, and safeguard company assets. Use crisp and professional language during all communication.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
Successful completion of high school or achievement of an equivalent G.E.D. certificate is a prerequisite.
One year of applicable work experience is required.
Absence of Management Skills: No prior exposure to managing employees or overseeing tasks.
Unlike other professions that require stringent licensing and certification, no such requirements exist for this role
The salary offered for this job position is between the range of $20.00 and $20.00 per hour and encompasses various benefits, including health care coverage, flexible spending accounts, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
